: I have just tried to flash a Pcchips m571 board, i downloaded the bios from their website and set about to do the flash. I ran amiflash but it said their was a disk error and it didn't seem to go into the flash process, upon restart the system was dead! repeating a beeping noise, the floppy still seems to work. I have flash many AWARD bios' before and know than you can make a bootable floppy with changes to the Autoexec.bat file to reflash it if it goes dead by adding /py/cc/sn/cd at the end. Does anyone know how something like this can be done with AMI bios flash???

I also killed by BIOS by flashing it with a flash ultility from Gigabyte. Utility came with motherboard. Well...I can't get my PC to do anything, much less beep on POST. I think I'm going to have to replace BIOS chip form www.badflash.com.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!
