: A user of my computer erased a file infected with a virus of the prettypark type. I think she deleted a file in the regestry. Now I get an error message that says Windows can't find FILES32.vxd. I can't run regedit where I think the problem is. Is there some way I can get into the registry some other way?

Rename Regedit.exe to
It will still run as before.
Macafee's web site gives detailed instructions on how to remove the pretty park virus!!
