I read some messages about empty bios flash (by example a virus corrupted it or a shutdown while upgrading your motherboard bios). so this is a real problem because your pc wˇuld not POST anymore and you are not able to run dos and your flashloader !
There is on solution to solve this simple reload the flash on a extern flashloader. so first remove the flashchip and place is in a flashloader or replace the flash by an otherone with the same bios already loaded.
but who has a flash loader ? here is a way to do it (with some risk but i have done it some times without damage) find the same motherboard and prepare the flash chip by unfasten it some in his socket so it wil just contact.Start up this PC in Dos. (the bios settings must set to casche Bios to memory) when the bios is in memory you can remove the flaschip and replace it by the empty our damage one. then start up your flash loader and load bios in this chip.
when this is done shut down your pc and replace the original bios flash. put your chip back in the other pc and done. this is also the way to produce a spare biosflash (on your one PC of cource, you never know when you need it and it cost about $10,-.
if you afraid of damaging your pc or you are not a technician then bring it to your dealer but think of this:
the price to fix is often more then a new motherboard so .
