: I have a Time PC, pII-300, 128 RAM, with Award Bios v4.51pg and the bios message is 12/23/97-I440LX-P6LX-A-00.

: My PC is misbehaving when the demands on graphics is high(games, etc), I have tried EVERYTHING, even upgrading to Win98, running Norton Utils and upgrading to a Voodoo3 2000AGP video card. still no joy so am considering flasing the BIOS.

: Can anyone help me with recommending an update to the version, where to find it and whether or not I should really be attempting this.

: Signed

: desperate Tony.

Hi Tony,
Although I might have the same problem, but I haven't really investegated all of it yet, but for you, Yes, I would suggest you try flashing the BIOS... BUT!!! Be CAREFUL when doing so, if you get the wrong one...BOOM! Then it's really GAME OVER!!! So I have a couple places you can try... the 1st one is a place I deal with here in my city and that's Morcor Computers, if you want, tell them that James (Jim) Torbett sent you, and he might be able to give you a deal on something if you need something shipped, since I am a regular customer of his, and he always gives me a good deal! Ask for Bryan, anyway, here's the ph #...905-684-5452 Fax #...905-684-7651
