: I have a question about the v4.51PG BIOS. I would like to purchase a new hard
: drive at 27GB and I am unsure that this bios will support that large of a hard drive. I
: think read somewhere that the largest it will support is 8.4BG. Is this true and if it is

I have 15.4Gb (Ibm) , and yes Award v4.51 doesn't support it (shows only 8.4Gb).

: what do I need to do in order to have a hard drive that large? Do you know is there

Seagate and Ibm has a driver for >2Gb drives. It works for windows 95/98 OSes but since it loads itself to MBR you can't use any multiboot-programs such as LILO. In Linux you can override "hd bios check".
